About Me

Hey there! 👋 I'm Gio, and I'm looking for an apartment with awesome people to create a comfortable and awesome living space. Currently have a contract role for the next 6 months, but looking to stay in the city long term. Ideally looking for a minimum of 6 month sublease. I'll be working from home 2-3 days a week and the rest of the days I'll be in office. On the weekends I like to chill and hang out with friends and family. I'm on a budget, aiming for a cozy place around $1,100/month or less (Willing to go up to $1,300 at my MAX).

🌆 About Me:

I love watching shows, a self proclaimed cinephile, love listening to music and writing as well and into film photography. I would describe myself as a sociable, laid back person. I am very organized and clean, looking for the same. I sometimes like to be alone in my room, but I also love talking about life and getting to know people!

🔍 What I'm Looking For:

Ideally looking for someone in their 20s to mid 30s who respects the common areas, cleans up after themselves (especially the kitchen and bathrooms) and who is chill, down to hang out from time to time, but also respects quiet time. I am also looking for someone who is a big communicator when it comes to bringing people over, either to hang out or to sleep over.

Deal breakers are someone who is dirty, disrespectful, non-communicative and inconsiderate

📍 Preferred Neighborhoods:

Open to many neighborhoods but ideally these:

Manhattan:
• West Harlem
• Mahnhattanville
• Hamilton Heights
• Washington Heights
• Lower East Side

Brooklyn:
• Greenpoint

🤝 About You:
I'm looking for a roommate who is in their 20s to mid 30s, respectful, clean, communicative and considerate. Someone who loves to binge watch shows and movies, share music tastes and is overall a good vibe. Must be LGBTQIA+ friendly, I would ideally prefer femme leaning folks, or other people in the community, but open to all! Whether you're a fellow foodie, a Netflix marathon champion, or someone who appreciates a good book, let's turn our shared space into a home.

📅 Move-in Date:
I'm aiming to move in by March, latest April.
