My name is Rachel and I am a 29 yr. old single, female looking to move to certain areas of Brooklyn, Jersey (Hoboken, Weehawken, or Union City), Long Island, or Manhattan. I am currently in Harlem on W. 117th and am looking to relocate in March or April.
About Me:
- I am very, very clean & organized and would love the same in a future roommate.
- I work in Midtown for an Investment Firm. I am in Operations on a hybrid schedule, so I do work from home a few days out of the week.
- I am an Ohio native born and raised. I have been in the City for 6 months and love it.
- I do not have any pets currently, but an animal lover if you have any pets.
- In my spare time, I am usually exploring the City, or joining different groups to meet new people. My favorites are the NY Public Library, Central Park, Columbus Circle, Bryant Park, Chelsea, Madison Ave, Jersey City (and many more).
- I do not smoke or do drugs, I drink socially - had my first Espresso Martini in NYC and that's my new favorite drink.
- I am outgoing, want to be friends with whomever I room with, and am respectful of their boundaries.
- I would prefer to live with only one other person (2 is max).

Cozy and Clean South Harlem Apt. - 3 bdr. + 1 bath
Happy to assist with any questions that are not listed below! The photos were taken during Christmas, but the apartment is the same.
The current rent for the subleased unit is $1,100 (utilities per person are around $60 dollars a month). There is a $20 credit check. Heat and water are included; you will split electric, gas, and internet with Spectrum & ConEdison. Deposit and approval documents will be provided to all interested parties!
This is a 3rd-floor walkup with a live-in super. There is NO broker fee and guarantors are accepted.
You will be 7 blocks from Central Park North, which is a plus! There are currently no amenities in the building - a local, clean laundromat is 1 block away (we usually use the buddy system to make it more enjoyable). Grocery stores in short walking distance are on 116th (CTown), 110th (my favorite), and 119th (Lidl).
The area is safe and convenient. You are 1 block from the B and C train. Other stops are located on 125th. The 2 and 3 trains are located further on 116th and another stop on 110th.
This apartment is a few blocks from Columbia University and is located on Frederick Douglas Blvd, which is home to several restaurants and coffee shops. The building is pet friendly, though pets are not preferred unless necessary by the two roommates; a female roommate is preferred, no couples. The current roommates names are Alyssa (24) and Marta (23) - one works in the office full time and the other is on a hybrid schedule. Someone who is clean, friendly, independent, and communicative is preferred.
I have furniture in the room that is available for purchase, but the room will not come furnished. You have a medium-sized closet in the room and can use the hallway closet for overflow. The kitchen will come furnished, but feel free to bring your own supplies.
