We are two disabled individuals both on SSI. Both getting 1,230. When we move in together the amount lowers, not sure to what. However, we both pay our rent on time and have never been evicted. I do have a felony conviction nearly 25 years old for the participation in the events that lead up to my codefendent's acts that killed his son.. I was convicted of the death as well for participating in those acts. I am not sure the exact penal code, but not Second Degree Murder. I am being honest. I was in an abusive situation and afraid for my kids safety as well as my own, but that is neither here nor there. I participated in acts that were wrong and I never would have under normal circumstances. I own my actions and take responsibility. I have never before or since been in trouble. I hope I can be given a second chance.
