Aug. 1 - Private Room in Lovely, Sunny Bushwick Apt

I have a great room ($886/month) with a skylight and plenty of space available in a sun-soaked three-bedroom apartment in Bushwick off the J and M trains for Aug. 1.

It's a third-floor walk-up with a skylight in the living room/kitchen area that lets in lots of natural light during the day. The room is a steal with a high ceiling and a sizable closet with two shelves above a hanging bar. It can easily fit a full/queen bed, dresser, desk etc. The bed featured in these photos is a queen.

The apartment comes with a dishwasher, laundry in the basement (plus a laundromat down the block), and a video intercom system to enter the building. Each room has its own wall-mounted AC unit so you can control the temperature. WiFi and electric are split three ways and average $80-100 each month if we’re running th A/C frequently. There is no gas bill.

It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the J train at Kosciuszko and the M train at either the Knickerbocker or Central stops. There's also a good mixture of families and young people in the neighborhood. Easy access to grocery stores, bodegas and bars either on the block or within a few blocks.

I’m a journalist in my early thirties who loves to cook and binge movies on Netflix. The other is an interior designer/architect in her mid-twenties. We're looking for another woman who is clean, mature, considerate, responsible and proactive about pitching in.

No pets or smoking indoors.

Hoping for someone to sign a lease through July 31, 2021 but open to being more flexible.
