Massive, Studio-like Room w/ Private Attached Smaller Room in 3bed/1bath

Gigantic, sunny, studio-like room with additional private room attached in a 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment in prime Bushwick. This room is simply massive: it measures around 17.5” x 13” PLUS the additional attached room is around 13” x 9.4”, for a total of 349.5 square feet. The bedroom has two huge windows that let in a tremendous amount of natural light, and the smaller attached room also has one large window. This room truly feels like a studio with the exception of shared kitchen and bath. The queen bed + frame and wardrobe can be left in room, if requested (note: the room does not have any closets, hence the wardrobe, but there is also a small nook in the attached room that can easily fit a closet rod).

The shared kitchen is spacious and recently renovated with dishwasher and stainless steel appliances. Shared bathroom is also newly renovated and features full-sized tub. The apartment is on the second floor of a three-story building, with only one other unit in the building.

The apartment is in PRIME Bushwick, literally *seconds* away from the J train at Gates Ave. Multiple coffeeshops, bars, restaurants, and stores all within ~5 minute walking distance.

The building is adjacent to above-ground subway, so there is some noise from that. However, the windows are soundproofed, and in the 2+ years my roommates and I have lived here, we’ve never been bothered by the sound.

Rent is $1250/month, utilities separate and split equally among all roommates. Asking for first month’s rent plus $1000 security deposit to move in.

The room is available for a 4 month sublet (Aug 1 to Dec 1) with possibility to extend. I’m ideally looking for someone who wants to move in ASAP and stay the full 4 months, but I can be slightly flexible about dates and length of stay.

Must be 420- and cat-friendly. Sadly, no additional pets are allowed :(

Looking for someone laid-back, responsible, tidy, who generally keeps to themselves. The vibe in the apartment is extremely chill and welcoming, but we mostly are working/living in our rooms and doing our own thing.
