I'm a high school teacher for the Dept. of Education here in NYC. I work remotely and am pretty lucky. I'm clean and friendly and consider myself a pretty good roommate.
I've lived in NYC for over 30 years and have always liked having a roommate. I've been pretty lucky with roommates. When someone shares a space with me, they tend to stay for a very long time. lol.... I'm proud to say that I've been told I'm a very thoughtful and generous roommate.
I've had apts. that I've lived in for really long periods of time. I like to create a sense of home and community. In the thirty plus years that I've lived with people here in NYC, I have almost zero negative things to say about my experience. I grew up with a large family and enjoy sharing space.

This is a really cozy room. The bed is practically new. The room is quite nice and has everything one would need to feel at home. The best part about this room is that it gets really good natural light and is near the entrance to the apt. This gives you plenty of privacy since the second bedroom is on the other side of the apartment.
Washington Heights is an amazing place to live. We have good food and good people all around this building. There is a small park a couple of blocks away. The Hudson river is a few minutes away if you like to run or bike.
