yeah so I have a specific pitch and you're either down or not

I'd say 85% of the time I'm very chill and just kinda watch movies, read books, talk about whatever, play board games, do tons of math, make music in my room, the usual. The remaining 15% of the time I'm a degen who wants to party and, of particular note to a roommate, to host parties of all shapes and sizes. I reserve the right to occasionally listen to music at volumes probably bad for your ears, to yell when I don't have to because it's fun, to watch a dumbass 1965 Western at 3am while fucked up.

Anyway, I also extend these rights to anyone I live with, and in fact, I actively want it! Bring strangers into the home at odd hours, host Satanic rituals, loudly read every odd numbered line from Shakespeare's Othello, whatever you wanna do I'm down for it (tho tbh the shakespeare one is kinda dumb and idk why you'd do it).

Also, living with someone is a profoundly intimate experience you only get to have so many times in your life, and I want to make the most of it. I want to learn from you, and to be your friend, and to understand the world a little better after living with you than I did before. All, of course, while really just having fun and not worrying about much else.
