I am a Physician of Chinese Medicine. I work from my home office. I am quiet, clean, friendly, and cooperative. I don't have any pets at the moment, but intend to get a kitten or cat as I've always had one. I cannot allow dogs, and if a prospective roommate has a cat it will have to be confined to the roommate's quarters as I am allergic to some, but not all cats.
I cook all my own meals. I am willing to allow a roommate limited access to kitchen and will require the kitchen to always be clean.
I am a very private person and would prefer to have a roommate who does not desire a lot of interpersonal connection. Because I work at home, the apartment must be kept clean and professional in appearance. Parts of the apartment will be off-limits to a roommate.
Most important is that any roommate I accept must be female according to the tenets of my divorce agreement; the reason for this is that I have twin 11 year old daughters who stay with me every other weekend, and also for occasional extended periods of 4 to 10 days.
I am looking only for a roommate willing to sign a subtenant lease of one year. At any time, for any reason, either I or my roommate will retain the right to break this lease for any reason.
I will not allow a roommate to be noisy, messy, or have overnight visitors unless pre-approved. Any visitors will be required to adhere to general house rules of cleanliness, civility and quiet behavior.
