My name is Katie, and I am moving to New York City in October for the sake of experiencing the city. I have worked seasonally for the last five years, working in places such as Poland, Romania, Thailand, Antarctica, and most recently in a remote Alaskan town. I love challenging myself, and want to move to New York to meet new people, and find inspiration as a writer. I am a pastry cook by trade. I love spending time outdoors, whether backpacking or trail running, love to cook and bake, go salsa dancing, and exposing myself to various people of all backgrounds. I also am passionate about sustainability and social justice, and would love to live with someone with similar interests.
