Hi, my name’s Susan, I’m from England, and I’m looking for somewhere to live as I start a PhD in Mathematics at CUNY Graduate Centre.

Obviously I’m pretty focused on my studying, but I also want to explore the city’s museums and attractions. I particularly love art galleries, I’m a fan of most post 1880s art, particularly abstract impressionism.

I also believe in giving back to my community, I try to spend some of my time volunteering, whilst also recognising the structural inequalities that volunteering cannot solve.

I think living with me is fairly easy, I try to keep communal living areas clean, and I go to bed between 10 and 11pm. I like having a friend or two over for dinner and to chat, but I don’t host parties.
