37yo department manager working early hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). My weekdays start at 5:00 AM and I'm usually in bed by 9:30 PM, but I stay up later and am more social on weekends. I prioritize open communication and positive boundary-setting with roommates.

I like an open-feeling common area where everyone feels comfortable lounging. If my bedroom door is open, feel free to chat; if it's closed, just shoot me a text! In my free time, I play the chorded zither, do some video and tabletop gaming, and love trashy reality shows. I can take a little while to get to know people, but I enjoy having roomies I can chill with, even if our dynamic is more independent or transactional.

I prefer to keep groceries separate but am happy to share kitchenware and seasonings. I like baking brownies or cooking a shepherd's pie to share now and then. I'm also down for casual group dinners once in a while, though I'm not a great cook (salad and doing a load of dishes works fine for me!).

Casual clutter doesn't bother me, but I do care about keeping the kitchen and bathroom genuinely clean. I’m looking for roommates who are willing to split the deeper-cleaning tasks and are cool with not leaving dishes in the sink past the next morning.

I’m totally open to weekday gatherings if the nighttime noise is reasonable. For overnight visitors, I just prefer a max of three consecutive nights so the space stays comfortable and doesn't feel crowded. Weekends are pretty flexible; I always give the house a heads-up if I'm having anyone visit, and I appreciate the same in return.
