Hi hello, my name is Nick. I'm a single 28 year old cis gay male. I work from home (for now) and work in tech and have a side job where I plan events for the summer. I lived in Boston for 6 years and just moved to NYC. I try to run every morning before work. I'm a nonsmoker, social drinker and do edibles once or twice a week.
You: LGBTQ+ or an ally, 20s or 30s, comfortable signing a 1 year lease, has a reliable job where you can pay the rent, doesn't smoke in the apartment, doesn't have a dog. Preferably someone who won't hate when I say "Alexa, play Taylor Swift" but that's negotiable.
Budget: $3000/month or less is ideal. Fine going up to $3500 if it was an amazing place. Would also *love* not to pay a broker fee but idk if I'm just living in a fantasy world.
Location: I'm very new to the city, so I'm flexible, but definitely want to stay in Manhattan. Places I could see myself in so far are TriBeCa, SoHo, Union Sq, Hells Kitchen, Chelsea... but not married to any of those.
Apartment: Would love a 2bed/2bath and in unit laundry and AC. 24hr doorman would be nice but not a necessity. I don't have much common area furniture that I'd be bringing with me. I have a small marble table that seats 2 or 3, full kitchen stuff (pots/pans/plates/silverware/knives/etc) and some lamps and end tables. I like having a nice curated space that is beautiful and livable.
Timing: Ideally sign a 1 year lease starting August 15, but would be fine with August 1
Hit me up if you're looking for the same and we can apartment hunt together, or if you already have a room and need someone to fill it!
