Hello, my name is Lauren! I am a DFW native and moved downtown about 2yrs ago. I'm an introvert, but I enjoy socializing and getting to know those I live with. I'd consider myself a responsible, tidy, and considerate roommate who usually keeps to themselves. I don't drink or party, only occasionally have friends over from time to time. Mutual respect, good communication, and kindness are very important to me. I'm always seeking to cultivate spaces that are LGBTQ+, Disability, and BIPOC friendly.
I myself am disabled and pay for living expenses via disability pay (if you'd like verification of my financial stability, my landlord and previous roommate would happily vouch for me). My disability does not impact my ability to independently manage my responsibilities as a roommate, I just need to rest more often than most is all. In my spare time I volunteer providing in-home care to the elderly sometimes 1-2x per week. I love cooking and learning new recipes (and am happy to share!). Dogs are great, but I do have an allergy to cats and can't live with cats unfortunately.
I'd prefer living with women/womxn/nonbinary roommates, but I am open and would certainly consider male roommates as well if we seem like a good fit for each other!

Building is in a quiet & safe area that tends to have ample street parking, and we also have a dedicated lot for parking that is free. Rent and utilities are split evenly, and both tenants have their own 11x11 private bedroom. Your room has 2 double-door closets that are very spacious.
