I’m Garrett, 30, and I currently work in luxury automotive sales. I’ve spent most of my career working with high-end brands, so I’m very career-driven and responsible, but outside of work I’m pretty laid-back, social, and creative. I’m the type of person who can have a busy week and then be perfectly happy either going out for drinks and dinner with friends or having a quiet night at home watching something on TV.

A big part of my life is music. I love singing, songwriting, and producing my own music, and I’m always working on some kind of creative project. I’m also really into running and fitness and try to stay active. I love exploring new neighborhoods, finding great restaurants and bars, concerts, and generally getting out and doing things. I definitely enjoy having a social life, but I also appreciate having a home that feels comfortable, clean, and peaceful.

As a roommate, I’m clean, respectful, and considerate of the person I’m living with. I’m not looking for a situation where we completely ignore each other and happen to share a kitchen, but I also don’t expect us to be attached at the hip. Ideally, I’d love to live with someone who is friendly, easygoing, communicative, and independent. If we end up becoming actual friends, grabbing dinner together, having a drink, watching a show, or going out occasionally, even better.

I’m very respectful of personal space, schedules, belongings, and boundaries, and I’d want the same in return. I like keeping common areas reasonably clean and want home to be somewhere we can both relax. Communication is important to me too—I’d much rather talk about something than let little roommate issues turn into unnecessary drama.

Overall, I’d describe myself as outgoing, ambitious, funny, creative, and pretty easy to get along with. I’m looking for a roommate situation that feels mature and comfortable while still being fun and social. I have a cat as well, so being comfortable with cats is important. If you’re looking for a roommate who pays his bills, respects your space, keeps things clean, and is also down to actually hang out and enjoy life once in a while, we’d probably get along really well.
