I've been living in NYC for 8 years and just graduated with my MSW from NYU. I expect to have a full-time job as a social worker, so should have pretty regular work hours, possible sometimes in the evening. I'm a dancer and I enjoy cooking and baking (meaning there will be baked goods in the apartment!). I'm happy to be friends with my roommate or do our own things. I keep the common spaces clean and keep my own things in my own room. I don't have people over very often and try to let my roommate know before I have someone over. I'm willing to consider pets.

Room available in updated Gramercy/Kips Bay 2-bedroom. Rent is $1700, with one month free, which makes it $1560. Lease starts Sept 1. Bedroom fits a full size bed best and has a closet. There are two windows and it gets a lot of light. There's an AC unit in the living room and bedroom. Internet is $30/month and cable is an option too. Electric is usually $40-50/month. Heat and hot water are included in rent. The apartment has wood floors, new appliances, a lot of kitchen cabinet space. The bedroom will not be furnished, but the rest of the apartment is. The building is a walk-up and there are two supers, one who lives there. I just graduated with my MSW from NYU and will be working as a social worker. I've lived in this apartment for four years and think it's a great space and location. I don't have people over a lot and keep the apartment clean.
