Need Roommate for Existing 1BR Flex In Battery Park

Hi everyone! I am looking for a roommate to stay in our already built flex room in a luxury building for a lease renewal from May 25 2019- May 25 2020. Details below

Price: ~$1,700 (based on May renewal increase) + splitting the Time Warner/Electric

Location: Battery Park (super dog friendly location, so please don’t reach out if you do not like dogs). It is also a very quiet neighborhood if that is something you are looking for and is close to large companies such as Goldman Sachs, AMEX, BNY, Conde Nast etc.

Address: 375 South End Avenue, New York, NY 10280

Room Details: My roommate and I live in a one bedroom flex and my roommate is moving out of the flexed room. It doesn’t even feel flexed though because we still have a hallway that leads up to the living room and a full living room. The room has a built in clothes closet and a built in shoe closet and big enough to fit a king size bed. I’m a pretty quiet person and not one to bring a party home. Looking for someone who is neat and also doesn’t bring the party home (apartment is my comfort zone)

Apartment Details: The apartment is fully furnished and ready for a roommate (TV, couches, wifi, etc.).

Building Details: The building is a 24 hour doorman/elevator/luxury building called Gateway Plaza (https://www.gatewayny.com/). Amenities include a gym, an outdoor pool in the summer, a terrace on the roof with grills included (so fun in the summer!), a resident lounge, a north lawn and a private park. The building has a 24 hour doorman who intakes packages, but each apartment also gets their own mailbox for regular mail. Our apartment also has an agreement with several laundry companies if you want to send your laundry out, but if not we have an internal laundromat where you can wash your clothes.

Surrounding Area: The area is SO nice and clean. It is next to a bunch of corporate offices (i.e Goldman Sachs, Conde Nast, AMEX) and the apartment is next to two amazing malls (Brookfield Place and Oculus World Trade Center mall with stores like Saks, Lululemon, Theory, Sephora, etc.. There are a bunch of restaurants (both nice and casual restaurants) like Del Frisco’s Grille, Le District, Eataly, PJ Clarkes, etc. We’re also next to a parking garage, a Chase bank, Chipotle, and a bunch of gyms like Equinox. We are also no more than 7 min walk to every subway line. We are a 5-10 min walk to 3 grocery stores (Whole Foods, Gristedes, Le District).

Your Future Roommate: 27 year old female with two small <15 lbs hypoallergenic dogs. I went to Cornell and works in corporate procurement at a beer company.

You: My roommate would like a female roommate. You have a stable job or someone who can be your guarantor (before you can be put on the lease the building will do a financial check on you or your guarantor).
