I'm looking for a female roomie to move into a 2 bedroom and be on a 1 year lease with me. My current roommate that is moving out has lived here for 5 years, which is how we have a great rate that's hard to find in this area.
About the room:
It's quite spacious- my current roommate has a full/queen sized bed, bed side table, a small desk, two dressers and a full sized tv in there. There is also a full closet (we also share the one in the entry way)
About the apartment:
- I own a small 10 year old doggie who is well trained (potty and otherwise) and likes to chill. He's a hypoallergenic breed that does not shed everywhere. He keeps us happy and mentally sane after long days at work!
-It's higher up in the building and kind of off in its own nook so it's very quiet and sunny.
-We have a dishwasher in the unit, laundry in building, a gym (that's being renovated currently so they give us a membership to one around the corner), a sky lounge where you can BBQ and such, dry clean valet service, doorman, etc so it's very convenient.
- A few things that I've enjoyed is the apt is 2 mins away from the east river jogging trail, the 2/3 train is literally across the street (brown, green, yellow line are all within about 5 mins) and there is a pretty large grocery store just across the street. Battery park, oculus, stone street and seaport restaurants are all within around 5 mins walking, so I have so much fun here when it's warmer.
