I'm looking for 2 roommates to move into my 4 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment (with balcony, dishwasher, package room, in building laundry, and in building gym!)
I've lived in NYC for 8 years, went to college here and loved it so I've been here ever since! This apartment has been my home for the past 4+ years, I was lucky enough to have a friend move in 2 years ago that will be re-signing again, which leaves 2 open rooms.
I'm a pretty regular gal, I love dogs (especially my basset hound back home), happy hour, concerts, yoga, wine. My other remaining roommate is extremely chill as am I, we have a respectful & friendly vibe at the apartment, with everyone doing weekly cleaning & picking up after themselves. We hang out socially & drink wine on the balcony a lot but we're also pretty independent and give each other privacy on a day to day. It's kind of the perfect balance :).
We split all shared household/cleaning items but we buy separate food/groceries for the most part. Generally, we're pretty quiet & relaxed. We have guests every so often, there's plenty of space so it's never a problem for people to have visitors (although it's not a revolving door!). We both work a standard work week mon-fri so we're mostly out of the apartment (pre COVID-19 that is!). Really looking forward to meeting new roomies who see themselves in this kind of environment :).

The apartment is lovely (I've lived there 4+ years and the other roommate who's re-signing has been there for 2!), we have a ton of space with 3 long hallways, a big balcony furnished with patio furniture, a cute common area and plenty of kitchen storage/counter space (and a dishwasher). The 2 rooms available are about the same size, one has a gorgeous 3 large window pane view of the Hudson River and the other has a nice hallway that gives it more privacy & a large closet. It's a corner unit on the 14th floor so I've literally never heard a neighbor in my 4+ years living there and there's very little street noise that goes up that far! There's 1 & 1/2 baths & a large hallway closet that we currently use for cleaning supplies. We pick up after ourselves and generally each clean a different part of the apartment once a week that rotates, and have professional cleanings every so often as needed. The building is great, our landlord is very caring and kind, and the building is staffed with cleaners & doormen/security. There's a package room & a gym, a large laundry room that was just renovated, & in addition to the large balcony in our unit, there is a second floor deck with a park for kids. I can't say enough good things about this place! It's hard to find a place in NYC that feels homey and with the space we have it really feels more like living in a house than a cramped NYC apartment.
