Hi! I’m Em. I’m 27 and am currently based in Minneapolis. Right now I’m working through a job offer to be a marketing manager and I told them I’d be looking to move in the next month or so.

In terms of how I’d use the apartment space—it sounds like I’ll be working on-site in an office during the work week. I’m kind of a zero-or-one-hundred person in terms of hobbies. I typically go to shows about every other night (I’ll get free concert tix to a ton of venues if you need a concert buddy ✌️). On my down nights, I like a quiet night in (reading/cooking). I *live* in my headphones so you won’t have to worry about late-night noise.

On the occasion that conflict does come up, I’m definitely a prefer-to-work-it-out-face-to-face kind of person vs. via text/notes.

Other random things - I studied gender and genre in film theory in college (with a final thesis re: sex in Game of Thrones). I’m in the music industry now, but I feel like that’s still a good indicator of my vibe. I’m far left politically, vaxxed, bi, single, currently she/her (but maybe she/they?), nerdy, quiet, and talk about music too much when I’m nervous.

Substances - For the most part I only drink at shows, and weed currently messes with my anxiety, so I’m mostly sober at home. I’m cool with it in my living space tho.

Cat - I do have a medium-hair female cat named Lou. She’s never had an accident (not counting the occasional hairball) and is very low maintenance but doesn’t get along with other pets.
