Hi, I'm Stephen. I'm moving home to Pittsburgh after 10 years away, first for school at Penn State and then for work in Baltimore. I work as an electrical engineer, and at least for the first while in Pittsburgh I plan to work remotely for my current company (primarily from co-working spaces).
My interests include all kinds of making (repair, woodworking, 3D printing, electronics, sewing), athletics (cycling, running, swimming, climbing), and reading. I get around primarily by bike and public transit, so I'd prefer to find a place in close proximity to a major bus line. Point Breeze would be ideal, or nearby neighborhoods.
I plan to put a lot of effort into building community and finding third spaces. I'd like to join a makerspace, get involved in transportation advocacy, join a rec sports league, and find a community association. I also hope to host casual gatherings with friends weekly. I'd really like to be close with my roommate(s)!
I enjoy being social, but I also tend to call it a night early (10-11, up 6-7). I appreciate a neat apartment, but it doesn't need to be spotless. Ideally, I'll have a bedroom big enough for a desk and a reading chair, a private bathroom, and a front porch. None of those are dealbreakers.
I'm planning to move out of Baltimore either the weekend of August 15 or 22, but I'm flexible on the actual move-in date to a new place.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,500 |
| Move in Date | Sep 2026 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 26 |
| Occupation | Electrical Engineer |
| Pets | No Pets |
| Hometown | Mt. Lebanon, Pa, Usa |
| Education | B.S. Electrical Engineering At Penn State |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Stephen would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
