About Me

Hello nyc,

I’m looking for a roomate to pair up with to sign a 1y lease on a 2/2 apartment with balcony, gym, concierge, etc. I’m only open to Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Preferably waterfront but it doesn’t need to be. The waterfront 2/2s are going for 6-7k per month at the moment.

Things to consider:
if there is an obvious master bedroom I don’t mind paying more on the rent. So you would be paying less.
I’m open to the idea of renting my room on Airbnb while I’m traveling and putting those funds towards our rent (not only my rent). This would make your rent cheaper. I travel a lot because I’m a remote worker so this could benefit you. Also ok with not renting on Airbnb at all.
As I mentioned, I travel a lot. So you would have the place for yourself often.
I am planning on buying brand new furniture for the apartment. So you would be able to enjoy this without really paying for it because the furniture would be mine but since you are my roomate you can use all furniture as well.
I have really cool artwork to hang on the walls of our apartment! (Some by me and my family members).
I prefer working on coworking spaces, not at home.

A bit about me:
I’m 32. I’m from Bogota, Colombia. But I have lived in Miami, Manchester, London and Rotterdam in the past. I’m a developer at a fintech firm. Work remotely. Love to travel and experience new things. Very open minded and laid back. Enjoy deep conversations in various topics such as history, economics, politics, neuroscience, philosophy and more. I’ve always ended up being friends with my roomates. I like painting with spray paint, playing tennis, volley, soccer, running. Try to meditate on a daily basis. This has changed my life profoundly. Like going out from time to time. In terms of music I like classic rock, disco, house, classic piano, salsa, bossanova, indie and more. I like cooking as well and don’t mind cooking for roomates from time to time! Enjoy reading and listening to podcasts of various topics. Love learning new things in general.

If this sounds like a good fit please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m open to hear offers regarding budget and/or other requirements I have. I just want to live in a nice place with space so we can both enjoy the time there without being on top of each other all the time.

Andres
