I am an active and outgoing person who enjoys a good conversation and community. I work a 24 hour shift schedule that is rotating, so I am gone some days and home others. I am an active person who enjoys going outside into nature, seeing live shows, art museums, etc. I occasionally, a couple times a month will have a couple friends over for a dinner, a game night, or happy hour in the garden to have a glass of wine before going out to a concert. I do not have late night parties and most nights when I'm off work I go to bed reasonably early. I am considerate and respectful with planning social activities around the needs of a shared space and living situation and I expect the same in return. I am always willing to sit and chat about any thing and everything, I like to make friends and meet people and be social. I communicate my boundaries and respect others boundaries.

I enjoy all your classic Pacific Northwest flannel wearing typical outdoors sports and work as a ski Patroller and do search and rescue on the side. I am someone who values actions over words when it comes to character and I do not have room in my life or home for people who mistreat, take advantage of, or do not have empathy for others.

The most important qualities I look for in a roommate or short term renter is some one who can have conversations about an issue before it becomes a source of resentment, is willing to contribute when appropriate, and is considerate of others. Health care workers are always a good fit because of the similar backgrounds and schedules make it so each person has time at the house to them selves.

I have a list of previous roommates both female and male as well as short and long term lease holders as references that I am more than willing to put any prospective renter/roommate in touch with. Sadly previous previous long term roommates that moved out it is because they met their significant others and ended up marrying them and having kids and what not. Which I guess a reasonable reason to leave a great roommate situation and we remain close friends and I've even attended some of their weddings.

Room for rent in the Ballard / Fremont area utilities included with large garden and great location.

I'm looking to rent out the other bedroom in my house in the "Frelard" area around NW 46th and 6th ave NW. The house has an amazing garden and yard and is in a walkable location between Fremont and Ballard. Close to the Burke-Gilman trail and probably the best grocery store situation in Seattle with PCC, Trader Joes, Fred Meyer, and H Mart right down the street.

I have a work schedule as a first responder where I am gone for periods of time and a potential house mate needs to be mature, responsible, and tidy. I keep a clean house so that when I come home I can feel relaxed and that is not negotiable. The house is a quiet and relaxing place and is a great spot for short term renters such as travel nurses. I am willing to consider a longer term lease agreement if I feel that it is a good fit as roommates and that we can effectively communicate and get a long well.

The bedroom is on the smaller side but has a large storage area as well as built in closet and drawers. It fits a queen sized bed and dresser or desk with room to spare. It has an air-conditioning unit and there is a brand new washer and dryer, and kitchen appliances in the home. There are sky lights in all the rooms of the house so it has great natural lighting if you're a plant person like me! The neighbors are amazing and are always willing to help out and bring in packages. There is plenty of free on street parking and an area inside the home to put a bike on a rack.

Lease is month to month and utilities are included. If deciding to do a longer term lease monthly rate and share of utilities can be discussed and put into a written lease.
