About Me

I’m introverted and quiet, but not antisocial. I’m an elementary school teacher and interested in a variety of subjects, including boardgames & party games, philosophy, and amateur juggling.

I would prefer to have a roommate who could also become a friend, but I’m flexible: If we are respectful and considerate of each other’s space and boundaries, I’m also fine focusing on splitting the check and doing our own things. As in any kind of relationship, communication can help us make our situation the best it can be.

Large Furnished Room in Lefferts Gardens

Don’t miss out on a beautiful sunny room (20 ft by 12.5 feet) in a spacious Brooklyn apartment! Your room comes furnished with a brand-new Queen bed, new sheets and new pillows. In your room is a recliner sofa, table, desk, portable clothes closet, chairs, plenty of storage space and an installed AC unit.

Wi-Fi and utilities are included, but we do not have TV installed. However, if you desire, your room can include a “time-machine” that allows you to view technologies of the past (aka: VCR/DVD combo)! Includes a “cute” 18.5 in screen.

You will share the unit with one quiet, respectful, and clean roommate who will be in a separate room. (If you’re looking for someone to play board games with, you’re in luck!) We will share a kitchen, bathroom, and small foyer space. Our unit comes with hardwood floors and a dishwasher. Your room is formerly a common space and is partitioned off using heavy blackout drapes at the two former entryways.

Our apartment building includes a beautiful lobby, live-in super, elevator, laundry room, and a backyard garden. It is conveniently located less than a block from commercial streets, which is far enough away to avoid the extra noise. We are a 5-minute walk to the B/Q or the 2/5 at Church Avenue, which makes for an easy commute to Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn. We are just 10 minutes away from Prospect Park as well.

Deposit is one month of rent ($1,000). I’m looking forward to meeting you!
