About Me

Hey, I'm a SoCal native looking to move to NY in February 2024.

I'm pretty good humored and usually glass half full. I like to exercise, play games, watch TV, go out, drink and party, look for good foods, hit up festivals/raves, lay in bed and potate... normal stuff. I also enjoy reading, rock climbing, interior design, and board games. I'm a little more introverted than I am extroverted, but still love getting shitfaced with friends. If I'm being pedantic, I'd say that while "extroverted-introvert" isn't the Jungian term from his personality theory where introversion and extraversion comes from, it does colloquially describe me (I apologize for how douchey that all just sounded, but personality types are like my version of horoscopes. Quite fun :)). It takes a lot to offend me, so if I'm ever doing something that's bothering you, just let me know and I'm happy accommodate, don't let your irritation stew and grow into resentment! But I also expect it the other way around, and rather than getting defensive, I hope we can all remain open-minded and receptive to well-intentioned feedback and be willing to find common ground.

I'm also looking for a roommate that's clean (important), respectful, and chill. It's tight if you're in a relationship and your partner comes over, but I'd really appreciate it if that was kept to no more than 2-3 times a week, because otherwise that's basically forcing an extra roommate on me, which I'm not down for. Prefer to not have any pets, though not a deal breaker if you clean up after it consistently. I've lived with guys and girls, so no preference either way there.

I'm down to share food or section our own fridge compartments; would love it if we became good friends but also fine if you prefer we just do our own things (being good roommates is more important than being good friends). Down to host a kickback or party every now and then, but would prefer that it not be too often. Gym, tennis, or rock climbing buddy would be a huge plus. I hate cooking and grocery shopping, so if you love cooking and sharing your food (I would Venmo you for my share of the grocery of course), I would be totally down to responsible for keeping the common areas clean, including dishes, sweeping, and wiping.
