I lived in Denver (Park Hill) for 2 years, but last December had to go back to Phoenix (Where I previously lived for 10yrs) due to a family tragedy. I am now in the position to move back to Denver, and need a a place to stay for a couple months or so while I get things back in order.
I'm pretty laid back and easy going, and just looking for a temporary room. Most of my stuff has been in storage in Denver the whole time I've been back in Phoenix, as my return was always assumed, but the date unknown due to the circumstances of the family tragedy.
I'm a degreed professional who works in the climate/energy space, I plan to keep it lowkey and not have people over or make a big mess. I'm single and without pets and plan to spend the majority of my free time either reading or applying for better jobs in my field. I'm a sports fan, but can keep that to myself, but I do enjoy playing beach volleyball, disc golfing, and hiking when I can. I have my own car, I'm self-sufficient with a whole household of stuff in storage if I ever need anything, and I don't have any major vices. I'm not on any psychological meds, I enjoy an occasional beer or cocktail but don't often get drunk, and I don't do use any narcotics or drugs besides THC to help go to sleep at night, but I can get along with just fine with people who are completely strait edge and sober as well as those who like to indulge frequently themselves. I'm not religious, but I grew up in church, and am comfortable being around people on most parts of the religious spectrum, so long as they are not overly fundamentalist and preachy.
I intend to mostly just keep to myself, stay out of the way, and am just looking for a temporary place to sleep at night, but I'm not antisocial either and if a bond or friendship does arise organically, that's good too, because I like being around good people. I've had plenty of roommates throughout my adult life, and have always had respectable an amenable relationships with my roommates.
TL;DR
I am drama-free, plan to mostly keep to myself (although I'm happy to build new connections as well), I have my own car, I need a temporary place to stay as I move back to Denver, and I'm pet free and mostly vice-free outside of moderate THC use, but I don't judge others or mind others' use.
