About Me

Hello,
We are looking for a one more housemate to move into a 3BR 2BA spot in Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy). Tryna move in mid-April. Rent is about ~1200 per person. No brokers fee but deposit would also be one month rent. Amenities for the complex include rooftop lounge, a pool room, complex gym, and laundry room.
ABOUT US:
Me (M, 31) - Recently moved to NYC last month from CA to start a career change in the nonprofit space. I'm generally easy going and would love to have housemates who are down to clown (but also I respect those who just wanna be housemates and leave it at that too). I shower at night and like the flexibility of having homies over. Would be WFH for half the week every week.
Outside of housemate specifics I enjoy visual arts like photography, cinematography, animation, drawing, etc., going out and trying new foods, nature and hiking, working out and casually climbing (when im not injured 😭), and playing Smash Ultimate (if you want free lessons 😂). Also down to go out to concerts or for drinks. If you're a wholesome degen with good taste in memes we'll prob get along.
A (M, 27) - Just moved to NYC from DFW Texas a few months ago. I was born and raised in Houston Texas to hardworking immigrant parents and have a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Medical Sciences. My aspirations involve a PhD or an MD in the future.
I'm a Clinical Research Logistician at Memorial Sloan Kettering in the UES and would like to also soon be in a lab performing research as well.
My hobbies include Thai Kickboxing (which I've done since I was 7), weight lifting, cooking (I will cook for yall haha),sports (go Stros and Texans) or MMA, and Warhammer miniature painting. I also like going out with friends (and maybe roommates haha) to bars, raves, or clubs, but I do like staying in usually.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Clean, tidy, respectful, tolerant, and nonjudgmental. Please do not reach out if you're racist, homophobic, etc. Unfortunately even though we love cats, we're both allergic 🙁 Collectively as a house we need to make 40x the rent, so ~144k total between us 3. Credit score must be 680+. If we decide to move forward, we'll need an employment letter, 3 recent paystubs, 3 recent bank statements, and a landlord reference letter from each person.
If you're interested, please shoot me a message and we can all grab food, drinks, coffee, etc. and test our compatibility as people who wanna live together!
