Room open in 2 bed/ 1 bath apartment in Inwood (year lease)

Hello! I’m looking for a roommate in my 2 bedroom / 1 bath apartment in Inwood. The living room and kitchen are already furnished. The apartment has been recently remodeled and includes dishwasher, elevator, laundry in basement and on-site super. It’s a block away from the A train and a short walk to the 1 train and the beautiful Inwood Hill Park. The open bedroom has 3 closets and can easily accommodate a full size bed with extra furniture (dresser, desk, etc.), or a queen bed with less furniture. It’s a little hard to tell in the picture, but you can fit a full size bed the long way on the wall by the window.

The move in date is August 1, and the deposit is one month’s rent. You would need to complete an application with the management company and join the lease for the next year.
A little bit about me: I’m a woman in my late 20s, Barnard alum, and I teach English at a middle school in the Bronx and attend grad school part-time at City College. I have lived in the apartment for a year. My current roommate is also a teacher, but she is moving due to a career switch. I also have a small, quiet dog. The building is pet-friendly, and I would be open to another dog or cat pending a meet-and-greet with the pets.
