I'm a 36-year-old writer who's lived in the Bay for 12 years. I was a bar manager/consultant (mostly in the Mission) for a decade before deciding to return to my previous career in writing last year.

I enjoy bicycling, writing, film, and cooking (the simpler, the better, unless it's a special occasion). I'm a neat, tidy person who believes in leaving places better than I found them and respecting the space of others. I'm LGBTQIA-friendly and eco-conscious.

I believe in honesty, trust, kindness, and open communication. I have a pretty upbeat attitude as I've lived too long in too many places not to enjoy the sly humor life provides, even when it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

I'm looking for a calm environment with responsible housemates that is conducive to my relatively peaceful lifestyle of reading, writing, and enjoying life.

Schedule-wise a typical day begins around 9 am and winds down around 10 pm. It usually goes something like this: Meditation, School, Workout, Homework, Screenwriting, TV/Reading. I try to be respectful of noise, so I own both headphones to keep mine down, and earplugs so I'm unaffected by the noise of the outside world.
