An introverted Korean-American 29-year-old. Professionally working as a videographer for a media company, personally writing fiction. I'm generally a homebody but will sometimes go out or invite friends over. I like to read and learn new languages in my spare time. Early to bed, early to rise. I'd like to believe I'm mindful of my space and the level of noise I make, so I would like to find someone who can say the same for themselves.

Hi there. My current roommate is leaving in October and my building manager would like me to find someone to replace him by the end of next month (July) to renew the yearly lease with.
It's a 2 bedroom / 1 bath in Astoria, a few short minutes from both the Steinway Street and Broadway subway stations. Super close to supermarkets, laundromats, restaurants. My roommate is actually willing to leave behind his queen-size bed, mattress and A/C unit for 200 dollars, so you would really only need a small desk for the room should you choose to move in. The room also has a closet and enough space for perhaps a bookshelf or lamp in addition to what's already pictured.
Our building manager likes to do everything by the books, so I would prefer to live with another working professional who's able to prove employment. There's a $150 application fee for new tenants as well.
Again, I need someone by the end of next month (July), but the move-in wouldn't be until October 1.
