Sunny room in 3 BR duplex w/ balcony & backyard

Hello! I'm looking for someone to take over my lease starting November 15. The lease ends on September 1, 2023, with the option to renew.

The room: one wall is a floor-to-ceiling window. It fits a queen bed, an architect’s desk, a bookcase, and a wardrobe. It is sunny, beautiful, and peaceful. I'll miss it!

The apartment has two floors with a living room on each, a sunny private balcony, and a large private outdoor space with a fire pit, table and chairs, and a basketball hoop. We're on the ground floor in the back of the building, so it's quiet, private, and safe. We have an in-unit washer and dryer. The building has a big roof with incredible views of the city.

The apartment is on the Crown Heights/Prospect Heights border, off of Washington, which is full of coffee shops and restaurants. There are four grocery stores within a 10-minute walk, and we are a 15-minute walk from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and the Brooklyn Public Library. The Clinton Washington A/C stop is a 10-minute walk away, and the B, Q, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are all within a 15-minute walk. We're a couple of blocks from Franklin, which is lined with great restaurants. There is a Citibike station on the corner.

Your future roommates are in their late 20s and mid-thirties. Gee has the room across the hall from yours, and Nick’s room is downstairs. Nick has a sweet 12-year-old golden retriever named Mickey. Working from home is easy. People tend to do their own thing but will hang out if others are in shared spaces.

The rent is $1,205. Utilities are ~$100 a month.
