In search of a friendly and communicative female roommate in their 20’s to sign a lease with me and my friend for a three bedroom apartment around downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn or Long Island City. We are looking to sign a 12 month lease starting August (TBD) with a budget of around 4k/m.
My name is Melissa, I am 22 and I come from Puerto Rico. I am currently in grad school and working in the field of education. My schedule varies a lot but for the most part, I am out of the house either working or attending classes.
Michelle is 24, from California and works from home. She owns two cats and I own two birds so you would have to be ok with that but we would prefer you not to have pets of your own (4 is already enough).
She and I tend to spend a lot of time together talking, going out to eat and exploring the city. We also cook together and like to try different hobbies like music, dancing and crafts. That being said, we also value personal space and think that communicating is important so that we respect boundaries.
