Hello Brooklyn!

I'm a mature, active, independent woman and longtime executive coach, recently arrived from Marin County, California, to spend time near my son, daughter-in-law, and new granddaughter.

I'm looking for a beautiful, comfortable furnished room in a welcoming home, ideally shared with one or two other women who enjoy both meaningful conversation and the pleasures of independent living.

My interests include photography, writing, art, nature, hiking, mindfulness, and contemplative practices. I'm warm, considerate, tidy, and respectful of personal space. I enjoy an engaging conversation over tea or a glass of wine, but equally appreciate quiet time for reading, creative projects, and reflection.

Accompanying me is my sweet, well-behaved 10-pound dog.

What I'm hoping to find:

Neighborhoods: Park Slope, South Slope, Gowanus, Greenwood Heights, or Windsor Terrace

Timing: Available now, ideally for 1–3 months

Budget: $1,500–$2,500/month

Space: Furnished private bedroom, preferably with a private bathroom

Home: Bright, peaceful, clean, and welcoming to a small dog

Housemate: Ideally one woman, perhaps another creative professional, semi-retired, or retired woman who values kindness, curiosity, and mutual respect

Laundry access would be wonderful, and nearby parking would be a bonus.

I'm hoping to find more than simply a place to sleep—a comfortable home where two independent people can share space with ease, warmth, and consideration.
