Available Room for Rent

Room in Astoria Sept 1st

Hi,

I’m looking to find a roommate to fill the 2nd room in a 2 bedroom apartment in Astoria/LIC. The apartment is located in a prime area between 28th avenue and 30th avenue just a few blocks from the 30th avenue N/W subway. It is also conveniently located just a few blocks from the R/M Steinway street stop which helps to avoid any weekend construction on one line. The building is rent-controlled and most of the residents have been living there for years. Apartment is located on the first floor which makes it easy in a pre-war building that doesn’t have an elevator. We have the added benefit of an additional “office” space which we can use for storage or anything else.

Room is $1200 a month plus utilities (internet/electric). I am looking to have someone sign the lease with me (starting 9/1) for a full year. Preferably female, must have verifiable income and good credit (all income/tax paperwork will need to go through landlord).
