Looking to team up or join others for a house -- not apartment or condo -- in the upcoming year in the Ottawa area. My goal is to bring down my own cost of living and to have a few like minded people in my life that are just casually around who I can vibe with.
If you believe in human rights, science, and get behind the idea of Protect the Dolls (but also know why that language is also problematic for some) then we're probably gonna be cool.
I work remotely and am always training for my profession, so we'll have decent internet in the house. I occasionally pick up some spare gigs working in the film industry as a background actor, so one or two days a month I'm out of the house for 8 - 10 hours.
My dog is a big friendly goofball when he's not working (service dog), and I would ask that he be the only animal in the house (he has been attacked by cats and smaller dogs, he has developed fear of them due to this and I doubt he would live alongside them well). I am absolutely alright with taking on the bulk of the cleaning in common areas because of his shedding. And when he's not working, by all means give him some love if you like.
I've got a vehicle, so I'm game to be the one to do grocery runs or the occasional pick up and drop off if you miss a bus or are on the way somewhere. I'm even open to making arrangements for scheduling rides because OC Transpo is brutal (especially in the winter).
| My maximum monthly budget | 950 |
| Move in Date | Mar 2026 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 36 |
| Pets | Dog |
| Relationship Status | Dating |
We think Jay would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
