I'm moving to New York in September for a cybersecurity job. I enjoy working out, snowboarding, scheming business ideas, and eating out. I will be working a block from the NYSE so I will want to live at most a 20-30 minute commute/train ride away.

I'm looking for a responsible roommate that enjoys life.

I would prefer to be friends with my roommate but we do not need to be. As long as we can live in peace that is what ultimately matters.

I go to bed about 10:30 on weeknights and around midnight on weekends. I need it to be quiet when trying to sleep.

I'm mostly clean. I do not leave anything out. I never leave dishes in the sink (I wash them as I cook). My cleaning lacks when it comes to things like regularly dusting, washing floors, windows, or other surfaces. Eventually, I will do those things but it can be difficult for me to care. For example, bread crumbs left on a table would be unacceptable but hard water stains on a shower door would not bother me.

I'm looking for someone who is at least equally as clean as myself and will not be bothered by my cleaning habits/standards.

I don't drink very much. I used to party a lot but I'm not about that life anymore. I don't care if you drink. There's a chance I'll even join you if it's the weekend. However, if drinking leads to other issues like habitually being too loud late at night, then I'm not interested.

I'm cool with weed and psychedelics but nothing beyond that.
