We need an occupant who will not be on the lease now but has a chance to join it next August. There’s also a security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent, but this can be paid over time instead of all at once, if necessary. I have included pictures of this room along with some pictures of the common spaces in the apartment. The room is 8x10, and there’s a door to the outside in addition to a window. The apartment is on the first floor, but the in-building laundry is down a flight of stairs outside into the basement.

We have a dog so unfortunately we cannot take anyone who has a pet of their own. But you can play with the dog that is here! His name is Carol and I’ve included a photo of him in the post.

The apartment is about an 8-10 minute walk from the G train and down the block from a bus stop that will take you to Downtown Brooklyn (with A-C-F-2-3-4-5-B-Q-R train access) in about 20-30 minutes and a little over an avenue away from the B44 SBS bus. I’m a queer cis woman and the other people in the apartment are queer and non-binary. So you MUST be trans friendly, non-negotiable. Although we are mostly clean in common areas, we need an occupant that has some leniency towards some dishes in the sink or some light mess on the countertops. We are usually the kinds of people who go to sleep late and wake up late, but sometimes I’ll have classes in the morning. Smoking is allowed but please keep it to your room. Also one of the roommates is an essential worker so adhering to proper coronavirus protocols is absolutely necessary. If you’re coming from somewhere not in NYC you’ll have to wear a mask in common areas either for two weeks or until you can get a covid test
