Hello Los Angelenos...
My name is Brian. I was born and raised here in So Cal and have lived here in LA for over 20 years. I am a writer and have worked in different capacities in the Film world. I work in the restaurant industry and have been fortunate to work at the same established place for the past 8 years. A lot of my days are spent I spend in front of a computer and in story, so when I have a chance to get up and move, I take it.
I have two pretty amazing and dynamic teenage kids. I have been divorced for 10 years now and have a wonderful relationship with their mom who we split custody with. At this point in the game, I have my kids every other weekend and sometimes in the week. My kids are my priority and finding a home for them that they can depend on which provides safety and the security to unwind from the stress of being a teen is my #1 goal. It is important for me to stress that while I am looking for the perfect housing companion, I am searching for someone who is compatible with the idea of having minors around and the positive energy and example that can come with. I know, it's a lot to think about.
I am a super active person and I don't sit still for long. I am a big beach guy and I spend as much time as I can on a surfboard, or on my road bike. I dig people a lot and enjoy having a dinner party from time to time or game night. I am not a big time drinker, but I enjoy a glass of wine or a bourbon from time to time. I am not a drug user and my days of 420 are pretty far behind me.
A clean home that is without clutter and mess keeps me thriving in both my work and personal life. I like to write about drama, but do not stand for it in my day to day. I think with transparency and good communication, most conflicts can be easily resolved.
I really just want to find like minded people who appreciate a similar lifestyle to create a nourishing and positive environment to coexist inside of.
There are no dumb questions, so please feel free to ask.
