Affordable room open in 1920's Spanish townhouse

The room available is a second bedroom with a private, connected bathroom near 6th & Fairfax, in a 1920s Spanish‑style townhouse. I’ve been living here for four years and intend to keep for as long as possible. We got a covid deal with minimal rent increases.

It's a medium sized guest room that can be set up comfortably with a queen sized bed and essentials. It has a big window, solid AC and a connected private bathroom. It has a medium sized walk in closet and I will give up the hallway closet right outside the door for more storage. Ceiling fan with overhead lighting, power outlets are in normal places. The bathroom is small but functional and the shower was replaced last year so it's roomy and new with black and white tile. I'm going to paint your room and bathroom right before you move in. The sink cabinet I want to paint black, it's brown and a little worn and it will look way better with the rest of the room. The floor is original hardwood, it's in good shape considering it's age.

The place has an authentic vintage vibe - original fixtures, floors, and tile in master bedroom and kitchen - and the black ceramic panther coffee table is a vibe. The stairs have original Spanish tile and the kitchen floor is black and white checkered linoleum. It has the quirks of being an 100 year old building but nothing major. The current decor in the photos fills out the whole space but I plan to go more vintage minimalist (almost everything is going aside from couch/big tv) - will be mostly bare to start, I'm looking forward to collaborating on decor and I'll have brand new essentials.

Perks include in‑unit washer/dryer/dishwasher, gated parking with one spot for you, call‑box entry, great location, and legit AC in your room. I think you can get a street permit for guest parking easily as well.

The unit is spacious for a two‑bedroom, with high beamed ceilings, a big TV and couch downstairs, and the kitchen just off the living area fully equipped with appliances. The bedrooms are upstairs, they don't share a wall but are close.

It’s a month‑to‑month rental with no deposit; I handle rent directly, utilities usually run about $250/month, and the landlord does a soft background/credit check. Landlord is chill, they fix things pretty quick. Neighbors share a connecting wall and are both in their 30's and super nice, not particularly loud and don't complain about noise either.
