Happy to socialize and hang out with a new roomie, as well as maintain space and privacy. Looking for a roommate who is easy-going, respectful, and friendly.
Things I enjoy: wining & dining, finding balance through meditation/yoga/pilates, traveling with no agenda, a good book, binge-watching TV, google rabbit holes.
I tend to work from home 1-2 days a week, and also travel out of state for work about 25% of the time. Also, attending grad school a few nights a week. Tend to shamelessly order more Seamless than I should, but would be delighted to have someone who cooks (makes the apt feel homier).
I have a small dog, who is very sweet and will likely ask for a few belly rubs here and there =) Mom dogsits when I travel, as well as during the week when I go into the office.
Not a neat freak but do like to keep the shared space tidy and well maintained.

Apartment is located in the Historic District of Jackson Heights and is a 5 min walk to the train station (E, F, R, M, 7) and close to the BQE. 15 mins to midtown (by train) or Williamsburg//Greenpoint (by car).
The neighborhood is peaceful, full of great restaurants, beautiful pre-war buildings and lots of greenery.
The room has direct access to a terrace, that is great for sunbathing in the summer! Or getting fresh air. The room comfortably fits a full sized bed and dresser. The closet is also build to maximize storage; additional closet space is available in the apt if needed.
Kitchen has been recently renovated and includes a new refrigerator and stove. The building has high-tech laundry machines (that's a thing apparently) in the basement.
I have a small dog (9lbs) - His name is Sully, Chihuahua mix (doesn't have a very "chihuahua" personality) he is well behaved, doesn't bark, very zen lol, friendly and always down for cuddles.
