About the room:
On the second floor, the octagonal room measures 12'x12', with a 6’ built-in closet, and three large west-facing windows. The room has high ceilings and gets great light. Includes baseboard heat and window AC unit in summer. It shares a lovely, recently renovated second-floor bathroom and shower with our other tenant.
About the House:
The common space in the first floor includes a very bright and breezy open-concept living room/dining room, half bath, breakfast nook, large renovated kitchen with stainless steel countertops, gas oven & range, dishwasher, french door fridge, and ample cupboard space. The house has a lovely, shady front porch and large back deck, with a spacious backyard, as well as a washer/dryer.
About the neighborhood:
The house sits two blocks away from bustling Baltimore Avenue, a business corridor for dining and nightlife, which is also a main artery for Philly’s trolley lines (20 minute ride to center city). A 10-minute walk from Clark Park, and a 20-minute walk from University of Pennsylvania, the neighborhood offers a spacious yet accessible part of the city that does not require a car.
