Hey there! My roommate and I are looking for a new third person to join us in a newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment in Williamsburg!
Who we are: A couple of dudes in our late 20's that both work in media. We're big fans of stand-up (if you also frequent the Comedy Cellar, we may already be best friends), live music (find us at your local indie rock or doom metal show), and hanging at our local watering hole. We tend to keep things in the apartment relatively low-key, but we enjoy utilizing the shared space for watching TV (a.k.a. rewatching John Mulaney specials and our favorite It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episodes), listening to records, and hosting the occasional board game night. We've lived together for the last 2 years and have become great friends in the process.
Who you are: We're looking for somebody with experience sharing an apartment who is responsible, clean, employed, and mature. Though we don't have to be best friends, its important to us that we create a functioning 'home' where everybody contributes to its upkeep and we all can feel safe, comfortable, and respected. We'd love to find somebody who we can socialize with, but who also respects boundaries and can communicate effectively. If you're able to endure an alarming amount of Dad jokes, that's also a huge plus.
The space: The apartment is a brand new spot for us in Williamsburg thats walking distance from the Graham L, Lorimer and Nassau G's and tons of great bars, shops and restaurants. Brooklyn Steel is right up the block,so if you, like I, spend an unreasonable amount of money on concerts, this is the place for you! I've lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and I absolutely love it.
The apartment has an absurd amount of natural light! There's a terrace and a skylight, which we both turn into giddy children when we talk about, so consider yourself warned. The bedroom faces a backyard area, so no street noise, and has a huge closet that’s practically a walk-in (but please, don’t sublet it).
If this sounds like your vibe, we'd love to meet you! Shoot over a message with a little about yourself and why you think you'd be a good fit and we can sort out the details.
