About me:

I'm 25 and I work from home at an audiobooks startup. I love books, writing, and art. In my free time, I like to go to the movies with my friends, go on walks, go to readings, or try cooking a new recipe! I went to college in New York City and returned to the city in May this year.

About what I'm looking for in a space and roommate:

I'm looking to live with just one roommate in a cozy, clean home. Ideally, I would like my roommate and I to be friends or at least, friendly - it would be nice to watch a movie together in the living room once in awhile and say hello in the mornings, but I also completely understand and deeply respect personal space and alone time. I'm pretty clean - I like to vacuum/swiffer once a week and I don't leave dishes in the sink overnight. Communication is important to me and making sure me and you feel like we're on the same page and that we have respect for each other :)
Some priorities in an apartment for me are sunlight and a room that is big enough to have space for a desk and bed since I work from home. Lastly, I have a cat allergy so unfortunately I can't live with a cat, but I love dogs and would be happy to live with one.

Timelines/Logistics:

I'm currently in a sublet in Fort Greene that will end at the end of December. I would love to find a place to move in to by January 1st or sooner. In terms of area, I'm pretty flexible but would like to stay in Brooklyn. My priority is being within a 10 minute walk to a major subway line.
