Search through thousands of potential roommates, whether you have a room for rent, are looking for a vacant room, or want to pair up with someone to search for a new apartment. Our proprietary algorithm will match your personality, lifestyle and preferences with other roommate prospects and display your personalized best matches on top. You can further refine your roommate search using our filters to match your specific requirements.
Express interest by clicking “Like” on profiles of those who seem as they would be good roommates and if it’s mutual, they will become a “Match”. When a potential roommate “likes” you, you will receive a notification and they will be added to your “Likes” page where you can decide if it is mutual and “Like” back.
You can communicate directly and safely with your potential roommate “Matches” within our application. All your roommate search leads are in one central place, and you don’t need to share your personal contact information until you are ready.
Hi! I’m looking for roommates because who can afford their own place anymore in this economy? After a little over a year in my own place, I’m finding that the cost of living is just too much, so I’m getting a (very) early start to find a roommate or two for when my lease is up in about 6 months. I may be able to break it sooner, though I would prefer not to. Ideally, I would like to find the roommate(s) before finding the place, to be sure we mesh well personally. That’s very important to me, I’d like to be friends, or at least, friendly, with the people I live with.
A little more about me as a roommate: I’m fairly neat, cleaning is a de-stress activity for me. I’m usually very social and a bit bubbly, but I’ll take my space when I need it. I have a GSD/Husky mix who’s a year old, and he is the silliest goofiest thing on the planet, and very friendly. He has not lived with other dogs, so I’m not sure how he would do. I think cats are a no, though, he would try to chase them far too often. I work in a grocery store, and I like it pretty well. Day trips and little hikes are lovely. I like to write, read, play music, watch movies, make random projects, and sometimes bake. Yes, of course I’ll share my baking. I also have my beloved boyfriend who will be around relatively frequently, not enough to affect utilities though, he’s a great guy and very outgoing and funny as well. He cooks. I can probably convince him to share some of his kitchen creations too.
Alright, full transparency, my worst habit as a roommate: I hate doing the dishes. I sometimes avoid doing the dishes. If you communicate with me, and we agree upon a dish-doing schedule, I will 100% do the dishes with little complaint. I know this of myself, and I am working on it.
If you think I sound tolerable enough to maybe live with, please send me a message! I’d love to meet for coffee, lunch, a drink, whatever floats your boat, and talk more.
