Hi!! My name is Palak, and I’m moving to NYC in September. I’m originally from a small town in Pennsylvania and lived in Philadelphia after graduating from Penn State.

I worked my way up the corporate ladder and took a small break in my career, and I’m ready to get back into it! I most recently worked as a Managing Director at a healthcare firm, and I was laid off last year. I’m currently serving on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit and recently accepted a position working full-time as a General Manager for a tech company.

I am a traveler. I’ve most recently traveled to UAE and India. I love exploring cultures and meeting new people. I get energized when speaking to people and forming connections. This includes finding new restaurants, going to new places, and exploring different parts of the city.

I also love reading and finding ways to engage and stimulate my mind outside of work. I rarely watch TV, but I’ll definitely love to head about what you’re watching!!

During the week, I’m pretty low key. I’ll probably go out to dinner with friends a couple times a week, and I’m usually at home during the day on weekends. I might go out once every weekend (depending on what’s going on). I don’t do recreational drugs, however I do drink socially.

I try to maintain a clean lifestyle. My goal is to eat well, exercise, and practice mindfulness. I love running/walking outside and going to pilates.

I’m currently single. As much as I love meeting new people, I don’t go on too many dates (nothing against it - I’m currently focused on rebuilding my career and building my brand).

I’m fairly clean, and I would like to say that I’m open-minded. I don’t have any pets, but wouldn’t be opposed to living with a pet.
