Hi! I’m a grad student looking for a safe, peaceful environment to live and study in. I prefer to live in Astoria/LIC, Brooklyn, or somewhere near NYU since that’s where I currently go, but I’m open to moving to other areas. I don’t smoke and rarely drink. I’m often busy - going to school or working or focused on building my business. I will not have guests often, but I would like someone who is okay with guests visiting once in a blue moon or having small get-togethers.
I love to cook, so I’ll definitely make sure we always eat. :) My budget is between 1-1.2k and I would strongly prefer to live with another woman of color. I am also looking to sign a year-long lease by September or October and possibly move with someone planning to be in NY for the next 2-3 years though I know plans change.

*I'm looking for a roommate who would like to hunt for an apartment together than moving into a room. I've found several apartments I really like but will definitely need a roommate or two to afford the rent.
