Short-Term Room in Rosedale Apt – Queer & Party-Free, Steps to Castlle Frank Stn

Looking for a comfortable, quiet, and mid-term home in one of Toronto’s most beautiful neighborhoods? One private bedroom is available in a spacious, queer-positive, and party-free 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom ground-floor apartment in South Rosedale.

💰 Pricing & Furnishing Options:
Furnished: $1,550 / month
Unfurnished: $1,400 / month

Roommates: Sharing the space with one friendly roommate and one resident cat.

🏳️‍🌈 House Vibe & Rules:
This is a strictly queer-positive and inclusive home. Creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment is a top priority. This is a party-free house focused on a calm, quiet, and relaxing living environment.

♿ Physical & Sensory Accessibility Indicators:
Please review the physical layout and sensory details of this 1960s building to ensure it works for you.
Entry & Steps: Main floor/ground floor unit with step-free access into the apartment.
Bedroom Space: The available bedroom layout is tight and does not have the turning radius required for wheelchair maneuverability.
Bathroom: Typical small layout with no accessibility add-ons (no grab bars, no roll-in shower, and tight space).
Fixtures & Heights: Light switches and environmental controls are at typical, un-retrofitted 1960s heights. Kitchen counters and cabinets have not been modified for barrier-free needs.
Laundry: Features a vertical, stacked washer and dryer inside the space.
Balcony: Private balcony is is not step-free (features a raised threshold/ledge step).
Sensory & Allergens: A cat lives in the space full-time. Additionally, this is not a scent-free environment, as the current tenant may use scented products in the home.

🏡 General Space Details:
The Apartment: Located on the main floor of a classic, solid 1960s mid-rise building.
Layout: Generous, concrete construction (excellent soundproofing!) with an open-plan kitchen and living area.
Lighting: Massive windows throughout that flood the entire space with gorgeous natural light.
Pet Policy: Due to the resident cat, no other animals are permitted.

📍 The Location & Transit:
You are steps from everything while nestled in a quiet, green pocket of the city:
Subway & Transit: 3-minute walk to Castle Frank Station (Line 2 Bloor-Danforth). Immediate access to the 94 Wellesley Bus (direct to downtown/U of T/The Village), 65 Parliament Bus (direct to the waterfront), and the 82 Rosedale Bus and 65 Sherbourne Bus are minutes walk away.
Nature: Incredible, instant access to the Don Valley trail pathways and walking distance to the Evergreen Brick Works.
Neighborhood Amenities: Easy walk across the bridge to the Danforth or down into Parliament/Cabbagetown shops, cafes, and groceries.

✨ Ideal Renter:
Perfect for a working professional, student, or someone transitioning into the city who loves plants, natural light, and cats! Must be clean, respectful, and communicative.

This is a short term rental. 3-6 months maximum, no extension.
