Suite for rent in single-family house in quiet, safe, neighborhood

Hello! We are looking for a kind, compassionate, open-minded person to share our house in the Olympic Hills neighborhood of NE Seattle. We are a five-minute drive to the light-rail station, two blocks from the nearest bus line, and a 15 to 20-minute walk to numerous grocery stores, restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with great neighbors, walkable streets, and nearby parks.

The space: you have your own 300 sq ft suite, which in addition to your bedroom, includes your own living room area, your own entrance, own bathroom, own refrigerator/freezer, closets, and storage. Please note the space is not furnished. The photos only give you an idea of how you could decorate. You would share the kitchen with us, which includes oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher and pantry, as well as the washer/dryer. The main living room is also open to sharing, where we have an indoor fireplace (so nice in the winter!).

We have a huge backyard where you have access to four raised garden beds - which are entirely open for you to use, a fire pit, patio and lawn, with plenty of outdoor seating. We also have a basement studio space with a piano and an additional bed for guests if needed.

We are a professional couple that loves spending time outdoors, traveling, hiking, walking, going to concerts, music, watching the occasional movie, sitting around a fire, having meaningful conversations, and cooking delicious dinners. I am an artist and run my own graphic design studio. My partner works full-time for a nonprofit organization helping entrepreneurs get off the ground, as well as running a small, concert-production company in addition to his own solo music project. We both work from home and occasionally work remotely. We have friends over once or twice a month, hosting small dinner parties or bonfires, but are mainly quiet, chill, fun, and respectful of those around us.

We are looking for a like-minded individual who is kind, compassionate, open-minded, clean, respectful, and authentic. We’d love to find someone who isn’t afraid of being themselves (no big egos please), who loves to laugh, share, listen and is curious about the world and those around them.
