Looking for a roommate in Manhattan - New York

Katy B - $4,000/month

About Me

Hi!
I’m a healthcare professional looking for a compatible roommate to share a nice apartment in Manhattan. I’m clean, responsible, somewhat quiet, a non-smoker, and have no pets.
I’m moving back to the city from the suburbs as part of downsizing and am exploring the possibility of finding the right roommate first, and then renting an apartment together.

My preference would be a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in a full-service high rise building, with an in-unit washer and dryer. It seems that sharing a larger, well-appointed apartment with the right roommate could be much more economical than renting a comparable one-bedroom alone, while still enjoying the same amenities.

I’m particularly interested in the Upper West Side, including the Lincoln Center area and farther north toward Columbia University.

My timing is somewhat flexible, but I’m looking to move after October 20 and preferably before Thanksgiving.
If you’re looking for something similar and would like to find a compatible female roommate first and then search for a great apartment together, I’d be happy to hear from you and see if we might be a good fit.

My maximum monthly budget 4,000
Move in Date Oct 2026
Lease Duration 1 Year
Age 51
Occupation Healthcare Professional
Pets No Pets
Hometown Wyckoff, Nj, Usa
Education Graduate Degree
Relationship Status Single

We think Katy would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
