I am a veterinarian, and my husband is a people-doctor (currently working at a startup). We are looking to move to a place with a bit more space since we are currently in a high-rise in the city.
I am originally from California, and my husband is from Puerto Rico. He has lived in the Bay Area for over 10 years, following the completion of his Ph.D. at Berkeley, and is well-versed in the area's best pizza spots. We met while I was in vet school at UC Davis, and he was finishing medical school — but now we are back in the Bay Area for work!
We have a small French bulldog named Sophie (who is the best girl), and we hope to find a house with at least 2-3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
We are responsible and easy-going housemates and are looking for someone similar. I have a heavy work schedule (at least 4 days a week, 12-hour+ shifts), and I see patients at home on my days off from the hospital, so we will be out quite a bit. My husband works from home and spends much of his day in meetings, so we’d be available if you need anything, but overall, we are unobtrusive. We love being outdoors whenever possible and exploring new restaurants.
| Move in Date | Dec 2025 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 33 |
| Occupation | Emergency Veterinarian |
| Education | Doctorate In Veterinary Medicine, University Of California At Davis |
| Relationship Status | Married |
We think Elizabeth’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

Share a 19th-Floor, 1,442 sq. ft. View-Apartment with Two Professional, Clean, and Welcoming CEOs. Full Access to 30,000 sq. ft. of NEMA's Award-Winning Amenities.
This is a rare opportunity for a discerning professional to acquire the complete San Francisco luxury lifestyle. We (the leaseholders) are offering a private bedroom and a private bathroom within our expansive 1,442 sq. ft. home in NEMA's exclusive 37-story North Tower.
This is a peer-to-peer arrangement, ideal for a fellow professional who values a quiet, clean, and beautifully designed living space.
Your new home is a sanctuary above the city. The apartment's 19th-floor elevation, combined with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, frames an awe-inspiring, panoramic view of San Francisco's magnificent skyline. The Handel Architects-designed façade is a "multifaceted" wall of glass, meaning the city's changing light becomes your daily backdrop.
The apartment features premium "Northern California" inspired finishes, including premium floors, quartz countertops, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including an in-unit washer and dryer.
For $3,000.00 per month, you are not just renting a room; you are gaining full resident access to NEMA's 30,000 sq. ft. of award-winning amenities —a "self-contained ecosystem" designed for the modern professional:
- Wellness: A 60-foot heated saline lap pool, a state-of-the-art Fitness Center "fully-equipped" with free weights and cable machines, a dedicated Spin Studio, Peloton bikes, a light-filled Energy Solarium for yoga/TRX, and a Spa Suite. The Fitness Center offers personal fitness trainers and massage therapists for personalized training and therapy sessions. There are also recurrent Spin, Yoga, and Jiu-Jitsu classes.
- Productivity: An exclusive, residents-only Business Lounge with Apple computers, soundproof co-working booths, and a private, corporate-style Boardroom.
- Leisure & Social: Three distinct, landscaped terraces, including the 11th-floor "Backyard" with grills and TVs, and the 3rd-floor "Urban Terrace" park. An indoor "Club Solarium" features a fireplace and pool table.
- Service: This is a "tech-savvy" and full-service lifestyle. Enjoy 24/7 attended lobbies with concierge service representatives, valet parking with EV charging at an additional cost, and a custom mobile app to manage guests, reserve amenities, and schedule services.
Located in the heart of San Francisco's Civic Center neighborhood at the nexus of SoMA and Hayes Valley, your home is a "Walker's Paradise" (99 Walk Score) and a "Rider's Paradise" (100 Transit Score).
- The Cultural Heart: You are steps from the SF Opera, War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall, SF Ballet, and the SFJAZZ Center.
- The Transit Hub: With a 100 Transit Score, BART and MUNI lines are at your doorstep for a seamless commute.
- The Ultimate Convenience: Your "pantry" is The Market, a gourmet food hall "mere steps" away, featuring organic groceries, Blue Bottle coffee, poke, sushi, and more.
You will be sharing this large home with us, the leaseholders: a physician-scientist (co-founder/CEO of a cancer immunotherapy startup) and a veterinarian/public health scientist (co-founder/CEO of a veterinary health-tech startup). We are quiet, clean, and organized.
When not working, we are active (e.g., hiking, running, swimming, or scuba diving) and enjoy exploring the Bay Area's restaurants and parks. We would be happy to have you join our adventures, or you can enjoy the "NEMA Life" and its own calendar of curated resident events, from ski trips to wine tastings.
We also share our home with Sophie, our 6-year-old miniature French Bulldog. She is my service dog and is exceptionally friendly, loving, and clean.
We are looking for a like-minded professional who values this unique blend of luxury, convenience, and community. If you are clean, respectful, organized, and seeking a truly elevated San Francisco living experience, we would love to hear from you.
Please reply with a brief introduction about yourself, your profession, and what you are looking for in a living situation.
