Looking for a Housemate to share 2BR/2BA house

I am looking for a housemate to share my spacious 2BR/2BA rental house. Your rental includes a private unfurnished bedroom (11x10), a private bathroom and 2 private closets (1 in the bedroom and 1 between your bedroom and bathroom). You will also have shared access to the living room and kitchen. Both of these shared spaces are fully furnished. There is also additional storage available in the basement if needed and a nice sized private backyard with flower beds for anyone with a green thumb.

The house is located in a quiet secluded neighborhood on the Emeryville/Oakland border. Off street parking (with car juggling) as well as on street parking is always available. Close to Emery-go-round, BART and AC transit. Easy access to 80, 580, 880, 980 and 24. Great location for commuters to SF (or anywhere in the bay). Close to shops, restaurants and laundry.

Rent is $1500/month plus utilities, which ranges between $75-$150 each depending on the time of year. Utilities include PGE, water, garbage and internet. The TV in the living room has access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. The lease would be month to month, with 1st months rent and a $1750 refundable security deposit due on move in ($3250 total). You will be signing onto the lease with the landlord and paying him directly each month. The room will be available about 30 days after we agree to terms, possibly sooner.

The ideal housemate will be a good communicator who cleans up after themselves, is able to pay their bills on time, is considerate of their housemates and respectful of shared spaces. You should be someone who does not have frequent overnight guests and doesn’t bring the party home. Must be 420 and dog friendly. Additional dogs will be considered as long as they get along with my dog. If you have a green thumb, that’s a plus since there are numerous flower beds in the backyard. No couples.
